Episkopi

Episkopi (Greek: Επισκοπή, Turkish:Piskobu) is a village in the Limassol district of Cyprus and is approximately 14 kilometres to city of Limassol and 40 kilometres east of Paphos.Episkopi is built on the hill of ancient Kourion close to the west bank of the river Kouris.It was a village of mixed population till 1974.During the 14th and 15th century the village was known with the name of "La Piscopia dei Cornari" (The Cornaros' Episcopate)
